Here's a few tips for staying on track this weekend if you have any events or parties to go to:
>> Drink your Shakeology before you go to a party so you don’t show up hungry.
>> Workout a little extra that morning (either do doubles or add a brisk walk to your usual video workout).
>> Limit your “cheats” to just one or two things on ONE day of the weekend. If you are going to have a little fun on Saturday, make sure that Friday and Sunday are right on point.
>> Plan, plan, plan. Envision the weekend activities in your head and see yourself making certain choices. Pay attention to how it feels to see yourself indulging a little, indulging a lot and sticking to plan. What FEELS best to you?? Make a plan and stick to it.
>> Prepare by bringing healthy food, eating ahead of time, having a snack waiting for you in the car for after, etc.
>> Don’t forget to drink your water. Bring it with you if there won’t be any where you are going.
>> Oh, and have FUN! Remember the ways you can have fun without food. Engage in conversation, play with the kids, get involved in games and sport, help out the host if you are at a party.
