Back to the Countdown to Competition plan and pretty much had no craving and never felt uncomfortably hungry. For those who know this plan, I'm not following "Autumn's plan" i.e. pretty much fish and asparagus all day. I'm just picking my own foods from the lists and following the countdown container guide. I always like to pay attention to my body and how it responds when I'm eating a little differently. I find it interesting that I'm noticing less cravings on the days that I have less carbs and no fruit. I have adrenal fatigue and low thyroid. I've read that even fruit sugars can wreck havoc on these conditions. I LOVE fruit. So this is a hard one for me to get next to. But, if I feel better and have less cravings and crashes...it's something to pay attention to.
My meal plan for the day:
- Chocolate Shakeology blended w/ coconut oil, ice & water
- 1/2 c. steel cut oats w/ coconut oil & 1 egg
- Chopped veggie salad with chicken and egg
- Greenberry Shakeology blended w. ice & water
- Pot roast w/ roasted cauliflower and green beans
Workout: Lower Fix Extreme. Wow, after being dsore from Pilates yesterday, this was not easy! Quads were burning with all of the squats and lunges. Plus, I'm fighting a cold and slept horribly the past few night thanks to my little boy. Got through the workout with good energy but then crashed after and took a well deserved nap!
